Today, I got some free time to explore around the internet finding free vectors, fonts, pictures, icons, templates that I could use for my travel book. Basically, also finding inspiration and ideas on which theme i should create to design my book. The free vectors are available for personal, advertising and publishing uses so there’s no problem in using them. I found a lot of “Photoshop brushes” that looks really good and useful for adding little stuffs to make it more interesting for the design. And I will also design my own stuffs later on because the stuffs that I want cannot be found or contains copyright infringement so I decided to design it myself. I’ve also found several really professional looking fonts and they’re pretty sweet. These vectors, fonts, icons, brushes are important for the process of designing the book. By using creative and cool vectors, it could attract the reader’s eyes and make them want to read more and make an impact towards the society. Below are several photos of the vectors and websites.
I also (finally) made a schedule for my PP or not I will not be able to finish it before the due date. By the end of this week, I have to finish translating all the chinese information to english. There are around 10 more to go so I got to work hard. Starting next week, I will organize the pictures, and start experimenting with Adobe photoshop and indesign. Below is a glimpse of my schedule.
